Tigers extend winning streak

GREENSBURG

Crothersville hasn’t dropped a game since their season opener.

The Tigers (8-1) extended their winning streak to eight games with a 44-26 win at South Decatur on Thursday.

After leading 16-11 at intermission, the Tigers scored 16 in the third quarter and added another 12 in the final eight minutes.

Senior Katrina Christian led the Tigers with 14 points and 12 rebounds, sophomore Piper Hensley added 13 and junior Kalynda Hoevener scored seven.

The visitors won the rebound battle 30-29.

Crothersville will host South Central on Saturday in a Southern Athletic Conference game.
