Nancy Sanderson, 90, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at Ashford Place Health Campus in Shelbyville

Born Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1925, in Breathitt County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Irvin McIntosh and Docia McIntosh, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Leo Hamilton, who also preceded her in death in 1980. She then married Luther Sanderson, who preceded her in death in 1996.

She had a love for dancing and enjoyed her time spent on the dance floor.

Survivors include a daughter, Gail (David) Brown of Franklin; grandchildren, Brian (Libby) Spencer of Racine, Wisconsin, Erin (Ryan) Slevin, Matt Brown and Mike (Ashley) Brown, all of Franklin; and great-grandchildren, Drew and Abby Spencer, Adelyn and Emery Slevin and Krista and Jay Brown.

Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Baker and Geneva Stamper, and a brother, Irvin McIntosh Jr.

No public service will be held.

Funeral directors Greg, Sheila and Stuart Parks conducted a private service for Mrs. Sanderson at Murphy-Parks Funeral Home in Shelbyville.
