CROTHERSVILLE

Phyllis Jean Hamblin, 78, of Crothersville passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at Seymour.

Born Oct. 10, 1938, in Crothersville, she was the daughter of James Amos and Mima Applegate Amos, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Thomas Hamblin, who also preceded her in death.

Phyllis was a homemaker.

Survivors include daughters, Sonja Persinger, Pam England and Treva Hamblin, all of Brownstown, Shannon Jones of Paris Crossing and Rena Hall of Brownstown; sister, Inez Carr, Crothersville; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Wade Hamblin, and a sister, Geraldine Prather.

There will be no funeral service.
