The 28th annual Crothersville FFA Toy and Food Drive delivery day will begin at 9 a.m. Dec. 17.
With the help of the Crothersville-Vernon Township Volunteer Fire Department and volunteers, Crothersville FFA members will be packing trucks and emergency vehicles with toys and food to deliver to those in need in the community this holiday season.
The members are working hard at trying to raise enough money to support the families and the fruit baskets they typically donate.
The support of the community is needed financially for the program to sustain the high demand that it typically gets. Donations of nonperishable food and new or gently used toys also are being sought.
If you can donate in any way, send your donation to Crothersville FFA, 109 N. Preston St., Crothersville, IN 47229; drop off the donation at the school office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays; or contact FFA adviser Linda Begley at 812-793-2051.
If you would like to submit a name for delivery consideration, use the above information to do so.
Donations and names will be accepted through 3 p.m. Dec. 16.
