Charles “Chuck” Lee, 52, of Seymour passed away at 4:15 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.

Born Feb. 22, 1964, in Martinsville, he was the son of Richard Lee, who preceded him in death, and Margarethe “Greta” Raber Lee Nowling, who survives in Seymour. On Sept. 1, 2012, in North Vernon, he married Deanna Pearson, who survives.

Chuck enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and dirt track racing. His favorite thing to do was freestyle glass etching.

Beside his wife and his mother, survivors include his stepfather, David O. Nowling; children, Randy (Crystal) Anderson and Darlene (Joe) Taylor; stepdaughters, Leah Davidson, Amanda Lovingood and Kristianna Nugent; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two brothers, Rodney (Teresa) Lee and Timothy Lee; a sister, Lisa Weir (companion, Chuck Reynolds); stepbrothers, Gary (Sylvia) Nowling and Brian Nowling; and stepsisters, Susan (Thornston) Alexander and Melissa Nowling.

Beside his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia “Pat” Smith.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Voss Chapel. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until time of service Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to donor’s charity of choice.
