Donna Sullivan, former girls basketball coach at Seymour High School, showed pictures and talked about a mission trip last summer to the Dominican Republic when Pine Ridge Extension Homemakers met Nov. 22 at Trinity United Methodist Church.

For eight years, Sullivan has been a leader in taking teenagers to the Caribbean island, using the trips that include sports as sparks that involve teens in their churches.

President Mary Ann Seaney presided at the business meeting. Aryss Beebe led in singing “The More We Get Together.”

Carolyn Krieger volunteered to do the club Meals on Wheels on Dec. 13, and Sandi Hall will take the January delivery.

Hostess Sandi Hall gave devotions entitled “My Cup Has Overflowed.” She served a healthy dessert course featuring spinach brownies to 12 members. Favors were fall candy and a turkey cookie. The hostess gift went to Jean Auffenberg.

The next meeting will be the Christmas party at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 20 at Mary Miller’s home. Secret pals will be revealed.
