Nathan Scott Jackson, 34, of Crothersville passed away Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born Jan. 14, 1982, in Seymour, he was the son of Charles Scott and Karen Toppe Jackson, both of whom survive in Crothersville.

Nathan was a 2000 graduate of Crothersville High School. He attended St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Brownstown and was a Green Bay Packers football fan. He enjoyed working at Poynter’s because he loved cars and detailing them.

Other survivors besides his parents include two sisters, Kimberly K. (James) Haines of Brownstown and Gina (Brian) Personett of Seymour; nieces and nephews, Kaityln (Randy Rhoades) Teipen of Seymour, Jordan (Hannah) Teipen of North Vernon, Cameron “Mitchel” Personett and Logan Personett, both of Seymour; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willard and Pauline Jackson and Earl and Jewell Toppe.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville.

Visitation will be from noon until time of service Sunday.

Memorials may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or to alcohol prevention in care of the funeral home at 110 E. Howard St. in Crothersville, IN 47229.
