Crothersville plans Christmas parade

An evening of Christmas fun has been planned for Saturday in Crothersville.

Activities will be begin at 6 p.m. with a parade on Moore Street. It will begin at the Crothersville-Vernon Township Volunteer Fire Department station before going to East Street, around Bard Street Park and back to the fire station, where Santa Claus will greet the kids with picturing taking, hot chocolate and cookies and other family-friendly activities.

Santa plans to stay until 8 p.m.

This free event is being sponsored by the fire department, the town of Crothersville and the town’s parks department.

The public is invited.
