COLUMBUS

Irma C. Galloway, 83, of Columbus passed away at 2:20 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.

Born June 30, 1933, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Arthur and Martha Sexton Fleetwood. She married Truman A. Galloway on Nov. 27, 1953. He preceded her in death March 4, 2014.

Irma was a homemaker and a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her children, Shari K. Galloway and Thomas (Jennifer) Galloway, all of Columbus; grandchildren, Emily and Andres Galloway, both of Columbus; brothers, Orville K. Fleetwood of Columbus and Norman (Carol) Fleetwood of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and six siblings.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home, 1029 Washington St. in Columbus with Pastor Jerry Ballard officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday.
