To the editor:

Shame on anyone who did not attend any of the programs put on by the American Legion and the VFW on Veteran’s Day here in Seymour and Brownstown.

We will stand in line for a sports game many hours, but can not stand for a little while to pay respect for our veterans, who helped to give us our freedom to go other places.

But on the other hand, thanks to Mrs. (Becky) Baker, a teacher in Brownstown, and her helpers who see the school children get to know about our country.
