George and Jennifer Lockhart of Seymour celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

George and the former Jennifer Johnson were married Oct. 16, 1966, at Free Methodist Church in Columbus. The Rev. Herschel Northern officiated.

The couple have four children, Tina Lockhart, Katie Douglas, William Lockhart and Lisa Critney; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

George is retired from Hostess Cake after 37 years, and Jennifer worked at Miller’s Merry Manor in Hope before retiring.
