Robert Mitchell “Bob” Buffo, 71, of Versailles passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born April 27, 1945, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Henry and Thelma Patrum Buffo, both of whom preceded him in death. He married Debra Pearson on Dec. 5, 1970, at Central Christian Church in Seymour. She preceded him in death May 24, 2008.

After graduating high school, Bob went on to obtain his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University. He continued to be an avid Purdue football and basketball fan his entire life.

Survivors include his children, Christopher M. Buffo, Craig M. (Lisa) Buffo and Curt M. Buffo; grandchildren, Zerek Buffo, Skyler Buffo, Dascha Buffo, Dara Buffo and Dahkota (Akierra) Amburgey; nephews, T.R. (Brittani) Montgomery and Blake Everhart; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert “Gene” and Irma Pearson.

Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Benjamin Everhart.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Voss Chapel with the Rev. Bill Everhart officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
