The Seymour Department of Public Works will stop leaf pickup at residences for this year Friday.

Until then, city workers will pick up leaves as weather permits. There is no need for residents to call for this service.

Leaves should be raked as close to the curb as possible and should be free of branches and other trash items. The department is asking city residents to avoid placing leaves in or near catch basins.
