Tigers earn road victory

MADISON

Crothersville outscored Shawe Memorial 34-25 in the second half to come away with a 66-54 road win Friday.

The Tigers (2-4) led 19-17 after one quarter and 32-29 at intermission.

Crothersville drilled seven 3-pointers on the night, with Conner O’Sullivan, Lane Wienhorst and Josh Thomas each hitting two.

O’Sulllivan led the Tigers with 18 points and Thomas added 16.

On the boards, the Tigers outrebounded Shawe 33-28.

Zane Elliott had nine assists with just one turnover at the Tigers’ point.

The Tigers will play tonight at New Washington in a Southern Athletic Conference game.

Switzerland County tops Trinity

VEVAY

Trinity Lutheran fell to Switzerland County 69-60 on Friday despite a strong fourth quarter from the Cougars.

Trinity outscored SC 23-15 in the final eight minutes after trailing 49-37 after 24 minutes of play.

Jacob Rowe hit five 3-pointers as he led the Cougars with 19 points. Colton Wischmeier was next for Trinity scoring 18.

With the loss, Trinity Lutheran dropped to 1-5 on the season.
