NORTH VERNON

Virginia Booher, 93, of North Vernon, died at 8:05 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, at Premier Healthcare in North Vernon.

Survivors include two sons, James (Sheri) Booher and Raymond Booher, all of Titusville, Florida; a daughter, Patricia (Hugh) Reynolds of North Vernon; five sisters, Phyllis Blair of Columbus and Ellen Moore, Susie Horton, Stella Kirchner and Sandra Summerfield, all of North Vernon; a brother, Charles Fortner of North Vernon; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Booher.

The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service Sunday.

Memorials may be given to the foster grandparent program or East Columbus Christian School.
