Robert “Bob” Perry, 61, of Seymour passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at Schneck Medical Center.

Born Sept. 14, 1955, in Seymour, he was the son of Joseph Robert and Minnie Abner Perry.

Bob’s passion was working as an EMT. He enjoyed IU basketball and Cincinnati Reds baseball, and he loved music by Elton John. He also loved being a grandpa to Robert, Rhianna and Raewyn.

He is survived by his children, Ryan (Rebecca) Perry of Salem and Justin Perry of Salem; his mother, Minnie Perry; siblings, William (Judy) Perry of Seymour, Randy (Peggy) Perry of Scottsburg, Sheila (David) Blake of Norman and Shawna (Johnny) Hayes of Hayden; his grandchildren, whom he loved more than anything, Robert, Rhianna and Raewyn Perry. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Robert Perry.

Pastor Richard Tallman will conduct a funeral service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
