Board to meet about contract

The Brownstown Central Community School Corp. board of school trustees will conduct a public meeting at 10 a.m. Dec. 29 at the superintendent’s office for the purpose of discussing and hearing objections to and support for a proposed contract extension between the board of school trustees and the superintendent of schools.

The proposed contract for Superintendent Greg Walker is unchanged from the previous superintendent contract with the exception of an extension of the contract length with a resulting termination date of Dec. 31, 2019.

A complete copy of the proposed contract will be posted on the school’s website, www.btownccs.k12.in.us.

The board anticipates taking final action on this contract at its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 10 at Brownstown Elementary School.
