Library offering Minecraft this winter

The Jackson County Public Library will offer Minecraft from 1 to 4 p.m. Jan 7, Jan. 21, Feb. 4 and Feb. 28 in the computer classroom at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

The program is for children in third grade through high school seniors.

Participants can choose creative or survival mode and play with friends or by themselves. Space is limited to 12, but four more may attend with personal laptops. Registration is required at myjclibrary.evanced.info.

Minecraft also will be offered at the Crothersville and Medora libraries. Laptops and iPads will be provided for a limit of 10 participants. Registration is required.

The program for children in kindergarten through third grade at Crothersville will be at 5 p.m. Jan. 3 and Feb. 7, and the program for students in fourth through sixth grades will be at 6 p.m. Jan. 3 and Feb. 7.

The Minecraft program for children in kindergarten through sixth grade at Medora is at 4 p.m. Jan. 17 and Feb. 21.
