The Jackson County Board of Zoning Appeals recently approved variances and special exceptions for two cell towers.

Skyway Towers of Indianapolis submitted the applications for the two 300-foot towers.

One of those towers will be erected on a 0.23-acre site at 5460 N. County Road 200E in Hamilton Township. That property is owned by Carol Ann Bell of Seymour.

The second tower will be located on a 0.23-acre site at 4514 S. County Road 700E in Grassy Fork Township. That property is owned by Melvin and Marjorie Bishop of Crothersville.

Each tower will have a 10-foot lightning rod and ground equipment.
