Read Jackson County’s annual 5K Run for Literacy will begin at 11:10 a.m. New Year’s Day at Freeman Field Recreation Area along North State Road 11 south of Seymour.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. Sunday, and there is a $15 entry fee.
