The Immanuel Lutheran Guild had its Christmas party Dec. 6 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church fellowship hall in Seymour.

Sandy Kilgas welcomed members and guests. Christmas trees were the theme with red tablecloths, greenery and a variety of Christmas trees.

Cutout Christmas trees with gold bookmarks were given as a favor. Pastor Jimmy Rodriguez had the devotion on atheism in our country.

The meal was served by The Townhouse Cafe. Paul Scheiderer had the children’s choirs from Immanuel Lutheran School sing carols and play musical instruments. The group sang “O Christmas Tree.”

Pastor Ralph Blomenberg had the closing prayer.

Hostesses for the evening were chairwoman Kilgas, Mary Anne Jordan, Judy McKain, Norma Pollert and Sue Foster.
