The annual Christmas Basket Fund grew to $10,972.77 with two final donations of $125 this past week.

Those donations were $100 in loving memory of Rick, Virgil and Alberta and John and Doris from Linda and family and $25 in loving memory of my son, Ric Tatlock, and our parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Marcott and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Russell Henderson, from Gary and Dianne R. Henderson.

The 71-year-old project is sponsored by American Legion Post 89 in Seymour in partnership with Jay C Food Stores, Jackson County Bank and The Tribune.

All donations may be mailed to or dropped off at American Legion Post 89, The Tribune or any branch of Jackson County Bank.

Businesses, corporations, service groups, churches, individuals or families may donate. Donors may contribute anonymously if they choose and may dedicate their donations to others.
