Paws to Read is set for 4:30 to 5 p.m. Jan. 19 and Feb. 2 and 16 at the Jackson County Public Library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

The program is a time for children in kindergarten through fifth grade to practice their reading skills as they read to George, a poodle.

Literacy skills of all levels are welcome.
