Debbie A. Douglas, 63, of Seymour passed away at 5:37 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center with her family by her side.

Born Feb. 1, 1953, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of O.W. Howell, who survives, and Melba Audrey Moss Howell, who preceded her in death. On Dec. 3, 1970, she married George Douglas, who survives in Seymour.

She was of the Baptist faith and had worked at several factories.

Debbie will be greatly missed by her husband and father, and other survivors including a daughter, Michelle (Jonathan Challies) Wingham; a son, Brandon (Danielle) Douglas; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe (Bobbi) Howell and Greg (Sheila) Howell; and a sister, Penny (Mike) Donato.

Family and friends may call at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church for a memorial service with Pastor Dan DeFriece officiating.

Memorials may be given to Calvary Baptist Church through Voss and Sons Funeral and Crematory Services, which handled the arrangements.
