The Jackson County Public Library Spilling Ink Writers’ Group will meet at 2 p.m. Jan. 21 in the meeting room at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

This month’s topic is “Finding Markets for Short Pieces.”

Registration is not required for this free group, which is open to all ages. Published author and library information services assistant Kathi Linz leads the group, which meets on a mid-month Saturday each month.

Anyone interested in writing for newspapers or magazines is invited to attend.
