COLUMBUS, Ga.

Percy Hynson Moyer, 63, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

Born Dec. 23, 1953, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Charles and Gertrude Adams Moyer.

Percy worked with Pardieck’s Inc and Edwards Electrical and Mechanical in the HVAC business and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers 20 Union. He was truly a jack of all trades. He also was an active member of Seymour Harvest Church.

Percy was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his sons, Timothy J. Moyer of Yardley, Pennsylvania, Michael S. (Shavonne) Moyer of Seymour and Adam V. (Cambrie) Moyer of Columbus, Georgia; sisters, Charlene Brewer of Seymour and Alice Fagan of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; brother, Charles W. (Dianne) Moyer of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Kyle Moyer, Nathan Moyer, Hynson Moyer, Luke Moyer, Jackson Moyer and Addison Moyer; great-grandson, Landon; special friends, John and Janice Flynn; his beloved dog, S.A.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sallyann Costello; and two favorite uncles, Percy R. Hynson and Samuel Conti.

A service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour with Pastor Larry Robbins officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday.

Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
