On the third Tuesday of each month this year, the Jackson County commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. at the courthouse annex, 220 E. Walnut St., Brownstown.

With Tuesday’s meeting, the board of finance will meet at 9 a.m., and the commissioners’ meeting will immediately follow.

In recent years, their second monthly meeting was at 9:30 a.m., but a change for 2017 was made this past fall.

The three-member board will continue to meet the first Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the same location. The only exception is in July when the first monthly meeting will be at 6 p.m. July 5 because of the Fourth of July being on a Tuesday.
