The Indiana High School Athletic Association released the 2017 girls basketball sectional draws Sunday evening. Postseason play will begin Jan. 31.
Class 4A’s Sectional 15 will be hosted by Floyd Central High School.
Seymour (14-5) is on the bottom half of the bracket, and faces Bedford North Lawrence (14-4) to open postseason play. Should the Owls win, they face Jeffersonville (12-7).
In the top bracket, Jennings County (5-13) plays Floyd Central (11-9) with the winner taking on New Albany in the semifinals (12-5).
At Corydon Central’s Class 3A Sectional 30, Brownstown Central (13-8) will play Scottsburg (12-7) first. Whichever team comes out on top plays the victor of Charlestown (10-9) and Salem (12-8).
In the other bracket, the winner of North Harrison (18-1) and Silver Creek (8-12) will play Corydon (11-9).
In the Class A Sectional 61 draw at Orleans (4-12), Crothersville (13-6) and Trinity Lutheran (8-12) will play in the first round. The winner will face the host school in the sectional semifinals.
On the opposite side of the bracket, Medora (2-11) gets the bye and awaits the winner of West Washington (11-9) and Borden (9-9).
