SEYMOUR

Rose Ann Hopkins, 75, of Seymour passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at Lutheran Community Home.

Born June 29, 1941, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Elmer and Lillie Selfridge Allman, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married to Benny Hopkins Sr., who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Michele Hopkins; granddaughters, Jennifer (Jeff) Darlage and Krystal Lowery; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Kucheravy; a half sister, Brenda Boas; and a stepsister, Sondra Nowling.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Benny Hopkins Jr.; a sister, Ruby Allman; and two brothers, Paul and Leon Allman.

The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Voss Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Rodriguez officiating. A graveside service will be at Vernon Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until time of service Tuesday.
