NORTH VERNON

Sharon Lucille Ison, 66, of North Vernon died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at her home.

Survivors include her husband, Curtis Ison of North Vernon; son, Chad Ison of North Vernon; daughter, Mandy (Eric) Ray of North Vernon; brother, Ted Asher of Letcher, Kentucky; sisters, Christine (Bob) Anderson and Barb Ison, all of North Vernon, Ann (Don) Litton of Morehead, Kentucky, Alice (Doug) Dixon of Lexington, Kentucky, and Brenda Asher of Letcher, Kentucky; and two grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with Brother Bill Halcomb, Brother Danny Dixon and Brother Jim Fields officiating. Burial will be in Hayden Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until time of service Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Leukemia Society.
