Gerth 60th Anniversary

Jim and Beverly Gerth of Seymour plan to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house given by their children from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 22 at Knights of Columbus, 117 E. Second St., Seymour.

Jim and the former Beverly Hall were married Jan. 23, 1957, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour. Father Irvin Mattingly officiated.

The couple have four children, Tony (Beth) Gerth of Bloomington and Mike (Nikki) Gerth, Mary (Dennis) Carlson and Beth (Mark) Schultz, all of Seymour; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Beverly retired from Persimmon Tree and Crossroad Antique Mall.

Jim retired from Cummins Engine Co. after 35 years. He is a lifetime member of Knights of Columbus.

Both are active members of St. Ambrose Catholic Church.

The couple request no gifts, and everyone is welcome to attend the open house.
