Trinity edges Shawe

Trinity Lutheran held Shawe Memorial to eight points in the fourth quarter to squeak-out a 44-35 win Tuesday.

Both teams scored six points in the first quarter before the Cougars built a 21-15 advantage at intermission.

The Cougars (9-11) led 30-27 heading into the final eight minutes of play.

In the waning minutes, the Cougars out-scored Shawe 14-8.

Abby Hackman had 10 points and 15 rebounds for the Cougars and Morgan Gabbard also chipped-in 10 points.
