JCB CEO David M. Geis recently announced that two members of the board of directors, Jim Johnson and John Britton, have retired as of January 2017.

Johnson has been an active member of the board since 1984. Retired as president of Midway Supply Corp., Johnson has served numerous leadership positions in community service organizations, including with the Rotary Club of Seymour, Jackson County Industrial Development Corp., Seymour Industrial Corp., Greater Seymour Chamber of Commerce and Community Foundation of Jackson County.

Britton’s 21 years of service to the board bridged his career move from his role as an administrator and coach for Seymour Community Schools to his current role at The Ohio State University as an academic adviser. Britton volunteers for community organizations, including the Boys and Girls Club of Seymour, Boy Scouts of America, Kid Again Foundation and James Ambassadors at Ohio State Medical Center.

JCB, established 116 years ago, has 10 locations in five southern Indiana counties.
