SEYMOUR

Janet Ann Ritter, 77, of Seymour passed away at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.

Born July 17, 1939, in Brownstown, she was the daughter of Andrew and Margaret Qualter Rhodes.

Janet was retired but had worked as a social worker. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her pets, playing cards and board games and cooking meals for her family, especially on holidays.

Survivors include her three sons, David (Sheila) Roll of Seymour and Michael Roll and Tim (Lisa Dunn) Roll, all of Brownstown; a brother, Bob Rhodes of Westphalia; grandchildren, Melissa (Andrew) McComb of Columbus, Amanda (Branch) Schrader of Columbus, Mark (Haley Locke) Capps of Seymour, Chassity Goben of Brownstown, Jonathan Roll of Seymour, Breanna Roll of Seymour, Cassandra (Cory) Hackley of Germany, Lianne Roll of Brownstown and Zoey Roll of Seymour; and great-grandchildren, Mia, Alex, Maely, Lane, Gauge, Kade and Karley.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Margaret Roll.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Kurtz Cemetery.

Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre in Seymour handled the arrangements.
