SEYMOUR

Rosalie Robbins, 81 of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, at home.

Born Oct. 2, 1935, in Brownstown, she was the daughter of Howard and Ruby Elliott Reynolds, both of whom preceded her in death. On Feb. 11, 1955, in Seymour, she married Mervin James Robbins, who preceded her in death Jan. 2, 2004.

Rosalie was employed with Excello Shirt Factory in Seymour for 10 years and retired from Domestic Laundry after 8½ years.

Survivors include her children, Terry (Diana) Robbins, Doug Robbins and Rhonda (Joshua) Clark; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild; and sisters, Mary Hackman and Nellie (Melvin) Weddle.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Mervin James Robbins Jr.; daughter, Shirley Tucker; a grandson; and two sisters, Betty Mills and Loretta Mikel.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Voss Chapel, with Pastor Terry Robbins and Pastor John Carr officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
