Trinity tops South Decatur

GREENSBURG

Building a 13-point lead after eight minutes of play, Trinity Lutheran never looked back in a 60-34 win at South Decatur on Tuesday.

Trinity (10-13) led 17-4 after the first quarter and extended their lead to 31-12 by half.

Outscoring the home team 18-9 in the third quarter, Trinity would hold on in the final eight minutes for the win.

Abby Hackman led Trinity with 18 points and 11 rebounds while Savannah Harweger scored 13 and pulled down six.

Trinity snaps a two-game losing streak and has won four of their last six games.

CAI drops Medora

NEW ALBANY

Christian Academy of Indiana defeated Medora 47-17 on Monday.

The Hornets fell behind 26-9 by halftime and were held scoreless in the third quarter.

Lillian Hatfield and Kailen Flynn led the Hornets with seven points each while Lexi Morris pulled-down 11 rebounds.

Medora (2-14) will host Dugger Union on Friday and Cannelton Saturday.
