In the absence of the corresponding secretary, Hill read several thank-you notes.

The Mardi Gras Mambo dinner-dance to be conducted Feb. 4 was discussed. New table decor will be purchased by the committee. There will be four basket winners this year.

A food tent will again be set up at the Hen and Chicks Barn Market on May 19 and 20.

Yet to be announced is the all-day bus trip to Chicago.

Two women recently were selected for donations by the charitable projects committee.

The next meeting will be Feb. 1 at Larrison’s Diner with a tribute to the founders.
