Patricia Ann “Pat” Luenebrink, 73, of Seymour passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.

Born March 18, 1943, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Francis Moran and Monice Lucille Tomlinson Engelking, both of whom preceded her in death. On April 21, 1963, in Seymour, she married Fredrick Ralph Luenebrink, who survives.

Pat was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She was retired, having worked at Walmart and the Hanes store. She loved reading murder mysteries. Pat and Fred loved to travel and she had collected spoon souvenirs from almost all the states. She also collected Mary Moo Moos. Pat and Fred were active for more than 20 years with the 4-H Horse Show concessions at the Jackson County Fairgrounds.

Other survivors besides her husband of almost 54 years, include children, Troy (Barbara) Luenebrink of Bruceton Mills, West Virginia, and Robin (Greg) Price of Campbellsville, Kentucky; siblings, Frank Engelking, Lucille (Gene) Estes, Donna Linn, Jackie Jones and Barbara Mullins; grandchildren, Nick (Marj) Strawser, Lynn Burns and Braden Teipen; great-grandchildren, Kayden Burns and Sophia Strawser; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Fredrick Daniel Luenebrink.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Rev. Andrew Currao offciaing. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Brownstown.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be made to a dialysis center or Redeemer Lutheran Church.
