Sophomore Lance Hackman was named to the dean’s list for the 2016 fall semester at Indiana University East in Richmond.

Hackman, a 2015 graduate of Brownstown Central High School, was one of four members of the men’s golf team making that list.

IU East students who take 12 or more credit hours and complete the semester with a grade-point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale are named to the dean’s list.

Fifty-one IU East student-athletes made the chancellor’s list or dean’s list during the fall semester — the highest total in the athletic program’s history.

IU East’s student-athletes compiled a 3.21 GPA for the fall semester.
