Survivors of Abuse Restored, also known as SOAR, will be offering a 10-week video series for adult women who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

The first meeting will be Feb. 9. This is a closed group for survivors only. Meeting times and locations are released only to group members.

This series, In the Wildflowers, is for those who are searching for healing from the trauma associated with sexual abuse.

The 10 steps feature the powerful stories of Julie Woodley and six other women and Christian counseling professionals who focus on the particular stages in the healing process. Topics will include releasing the shame, healing wounds and cultivating forgiveness.

SOAR is a support group, not a therapy group, and is facilitated by other women who also are survivors.
