Jackson County 4-H offering fire safety classes
Youth interested in learning about fire safety and the job of a firefighter are invited to participate in the Jackson County 4-H Fire Safety SPARK Club.
Donald Schnitker, chief of the Hamilton Township Volunteer Fire Department, will be leading the three sessions, which will be from 6 to 8 p.m. March 6, 20 and 27 at the fire department at 6905 N. County Road 400E, Cortland.
This activity is open to all Jackson County youth in Grades 3 through 12, regardless of their current involvement in Jackson County 4-H.

The cost is free to current 4-H members who have paid their program fees. For youth not currently enrolled in 4-H, there is a $20 fee. The registration deadline is March 1.
