James E. Speer, 83, of Seymour died at 1:08 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service with the Rev. Marty Speer officiating. Burial will be at Leesville Cemetery in Lawrence County.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from noon until time of service.
