A winter banquet is planned for 5 p.m. Saturday at State Street Community Worship Center, 104 S. State St., North Vernon.

The cost is $6 for adults, $10 for couples, $4 for children 4 through 12 and free for children 3 and under. That includes games and a dinner featuring a salad, garlic bread, spaghetti, drink and dessert.

The public is invited. Carryout is available by calling Pastor Mike Biggs at 812-767-0466.

State Street Community Worship Center is a nondenominational church with Bible-based preaching by Biggs and traditional, southern gospel and contemporary music. Sunday morning worship is at 10:30 a.m., and Thursday Morning Coffee Club Bible Study is at 10 a.m.
