Franklin College recently announced its president’s and dean’s lists for the fall 2016 semester.

The president’s list includes senior Clare Louise Lenart, the daughter of David and Karen Lenart of Seymour.

Jackson County residents named to the dean’s list include:

Alexis Beed, a senior and the daughter David and Angie Beed of Seymour.

James Clay Brown, a junior and the son of Jerry and Tammy Brown of Medora.

Chase Alexander Loyd, a sophomore and the son of Roy and Beverly Stein of Vallonia.

Madeline Elizabeth Lucas, a sophomore and the daughter of James and Lynn Lucas of Seymour.

John Michael McKinney, a sophomore and the son of Mark and Joyce McKinney of Brownstown.

Jonathan David Rollins, a senior and the son of Bradley and Rita Rollins of Brownstown.

Sydney Ranae Stuckwisch, a sophomore and the daughter of Troy and Susan Stuckwisch of Seymour.

Mackenzie Scout Taylor, a freshman and the daughter of Christopher and Karen Taylor of Seymour.

Students named to the president’s list have achieved academic distinction by earning a 4.0 grade-point average, while those named to the dean’s list have earned a 3.5 grade-point average or above.
