NORTH VERNON

Chloa Leota Hornsby, 70, of North Vernon died at 12:01 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, at her home.

Survivors include her husband, Russell Hornsby; four sons, Floyd Wayne Johnson Jr. and Dale Lynn Johnson, both of North Vernon, Lamar (Elizabeth) Hornsby of Lousia, Virginia, and Kenny Hornsby of Tampa, Florida; three daughters, Gail (John) Kuntz of North Vernon, Pamela (Richard) Burks of Blackstone, Virginia, and Amie Didomizio of Chicago, Illinois; three brothers, Arnold John (Kay) Dunham Jr. of Madison and Larry Ray (Ann) and Alan Dale (Donna) Dunham Sr., all of North Vernon; a sister, Katie Kay Shelton of Scottsburg; 31 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
