Patrick P. Warinner, 69, of Seymour, passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, at his home.

Born Feb. 10, 1948, in Passaic, New Jersey, he was the son of Patrick Warinner Sr. and Evelyn Mary Wientenberg Warinner, both of whom preceded him in death. On Nov. 24, 1973, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour, he married Susan M. Elsner, who passed away April 1, 2002.

Patrick graduated from Crothersville High School in 1966 and attended Hanover College. He worked at Scott Manufacturing for 40 years and then for Valeo Sylvania, retiring in 2013. He enjoyed taking photos, researching family genealogy and reading and studying U.S. history. He was an avid I.U. basketball fan and enjoyed watching his great-nieces play basketball.

Survivors include his sister, Ethel R. Perry of Columbus; brothers-in-law, Tim (Sandy) Elsner, Tom Elsner and Pete (Kelley) Elsner; sister-in-law, Lisa (Dennis) Runge; nieces, Phillis (Alan) Ballard and Rhiannon (Troy) Napier; and great-nieces, Brooke and Britney Ballard.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
