The Paint the Town crew with Southern Indiana Center for the Arts will be at Chateau de Pique Winery on Feb. 25 offering a fun acrylic painting.

“Rain, Rain” will be done on a 16-by-20 canvas.

“This lesson will allow participants to learn how to create the illusion of a gray, rainy day by brush mixing black and white as you stroke on the paint,” instructor Darnell Dukes said. “You can choose the umbrella and rain boot color.”

Paint the Town is a social painting group class where no prior experience or talent is required. The pattern is provided.

The class begins at 3 p.m. at the winery at 6361 N. County Road 760E, Seymour. All supplies and instructions are included in the price of $32.50. SICA members receive a 20 percent discount. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase.
