The Brownstown Central High School Science Olympiad team competed Feb. 4 at the Bloomington Regional.

The team placed fifth. Members include Makenzie Bennett, Keilen Hardy, Morgan Harrison, Lucas Harte, Dalton Hoffman, Alexis Koch, Seth Krieger, Jeremy Pitts, Jenny Runge and Trentity Vaught.

Receiving silver medals were Vaught and Bennett in remote sensing and Koch and Vaught in rocks and minerals.

Receiving bronze medals were Runge and Harrison in chemistry lab, Hardy and Harte in electric vehicle and Harrison and Koch in write it/do it.

The team is coached by Maria Conklin and Taylor Eagan.
