Seymour High School senior Victoria Mahoney and freshman Bryce Hatton both earned gold medals Saturday at the Indiana State School Music Association State Solo and Ensemble Festival at Perry Meridian High School.

They each did a vocal solo.

In order to advance to this state-level event, they had to first earn gold ratings at the District Solo and Ensemble Festival on Jan. 28 at Floyd Central High School.
