The Carr Township Conservation Club plans to conduct its annual membership drive and soup supper from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the club at 8976 W. County Road 425S, Medora.

A variety of soups, drinks and table service will be furnished by the club. All members and guests are asked to bring a pitch-in dessert dish to complete the meal.

The meal is free to 2016 members. Those who are not a member may purchase a 2017 membership at the door.

Annual memberships have not increased. The cost for regular membership dues is $15 per year per household family, and the VIP membership dues are $25 per year per household family. The fee includes hunting and fishing privileges on the property.

There will be a door prize drawing for those with expired 2016 membership cards.

A short business meeting will be conducted to discuss projects that have been done to support and keep the club going. An election of officers also is planned. The club is looking for new members to help and work at events.

Anyone who cannot attend may mail in membership dues and send a check to Carr Township Conservation Club, c/o Dick Clampitt, president, P.O. Box 338, Medora, IN 47260. Anyone with questions about memberships or the meal may call Clampitt at 812-966-2516.
